Dr. Jo Golden is a service designer, social scientist, entrepreneur, and multidisciplinary problem solver who specializes in designing meaningful experiences. She teaches Foundations of Design Leadership at MICA and co-leads the DC Chapter of OpenIDEO.

Jo found her way to Human Centered Design / Design Thinking and User Experience after 15+ years of guiding people through identity conflict around technological change, helping small businesses tell their brand story on the Web, and designing transformational learning experiences—first at George Mason University, then at Georgetown University, in her work at Chaos To Clarity and now at OpenIDEO DC and Maryland Institute College of Art.
