After you’ve signed up and taken charge of your profile privacy settings on LinkedIn® (as discussed in the first video in this series), it’s time to take a look at the different components of your profile. We’re reviewing many of those today so that you can start collecting your information and thinking about how to present yourself. Strategic participation on social networking sites is a must, so remember that developing a powerful professional web presence is an ongoing task. Creating solid profiles that represent you well takes time, and revisions. So don’t expect your profile on any site to be perfect the first time out. Do yourself a favor—plan to revisit your profiles over time to make adjustments, improvements, and updates.
